Matthew Spears, a graduate of Newberry College with his bachelors degree in Business Administration (2017), Masters Degree in Business Administration from North Carolina Pembroke (2021), and  graduate of Ramsey Financial Coach Master Training was born in Charlotte, NC.  While at Newberry College he found the love of his life in Jessica Spears and they soon married in 2020 as they now reside in Columbia, SC with their beautiful daughter Autumn Spears. Immediately after the couple stated their vows they realized the tough financial picture they came into with the amount of debt totaling over $117,000. Knowing they desired to build a family in the future they decided to tackle their financial situation head on by working side jobs, cutting back on spending and making the necessary sacrifices to put their family in a better situation. Through these many sacrifices, the family was able to pay off the $117,000 in debt in just over 1 year and 3 months. 

During this time the dream of creating a financial coaching business was born. Matthew understood if this happened to his family then it can and does happen to many Americans today. Matthew has been quoted saying "If I can help one person change their financial picture then an entire family tree can be changed. Therefore, I task myself everyday to bring my personal experience, knowledge gained and skills earned to give each person I can the financial peace they truly deserve". 

Matthew's vision has been from inception to give others hope in a world where there are many hope stealers who promise results with no ideal process to get people to their long term goals. Through Spears Financial Coaching everyday Americans have been able to find hope while seeing realistic results that come from their willingness to optimize the gifts, talents and skills within themselves to create character change that will enable them to become responsible stewards.
